Our Story
Meeting the Challenge Since 1975
BJ Rees's Enterprise traces its origins to a legacy of innovation and practical problem-solving, initially fostered by the forward-thinking leadership of its founder. Beginning his independent venture at the age of 22, Blaine Rees established a small welding shop to address diverse needs within the Salt Lake City community.
With a keen eye for opportunities, Rees adapted to the booming oil industry by deploying a portable welding truck for on-site services. As the enterprise expanded with a fleet of owned and subleased trucks, Rees diversified further into pipeline installations and related services. Transitioning to land development in Wyoming marked a pivotal moment, laying the foundation for a portable crushing operation.
Now, under the leadership of Robert Wadman, the next generation is poised to carry forward this rich tradition, steering the company into a new era of growth and success across multiple states.
Crushing operations stand as the central pillar of BJ Rees's Enterprise, extending across portable contract crushing endeavors throughout the Western United States and Hawaii. Complementing our crushing prowess is the comprehensive expertise of our sister company, REESCO, specializing in steel fabrication and manufacturing. This includes everything from crushing and screening equipment to belt frames and feeders.
This holistic approach, combined with our in-house design capabilities and portable crushing services, positions us to tackle any challenge presented by the mining and aggregate industry, ensuring our clients receive unparalleled solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
